Business Analyst w/ Active Top Secret or DHS Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst to support a company driving digital transformation and modernization initiatives for federal agencies. This position is hybrid in Springfield, VA. This is an exciting opportunity supporting a national leader in technology modernization, Agile delivery, and enterprise solutions for government programs.

Responsibilities for the Business Analyst include:

• Gather and refine business requirements with stakeholders, end users, and technical SMEs.
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile development teams.
• Develop and execute manual test cases to validate functionality and support successful releases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create release notes, product documentation, and end-user support materials.
• Support project reporting, status updates, and stakeholder communications.

Required Qualifications for the Business Analyst include:

• *REQUIRED* Must have an active DHS Clearance OR Top Secret DoD Clearance.
• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting software development projects.
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing, UAT, and test case execution.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Compensation for the Business Analyst includes:

• Salary Range: $135,000
