We are seeking a Project Engineer - Configuration Data Management with experience in coordinating planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
In this role you will plan and formulate the Engineering program, review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. You will also evaluate and approve design changes, specification and drawing releases, and coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with program leaders and lead multiple IPTs to the best, unified solution that meets overall system performance requirements, cost, and schedule needs.
• Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation. Review change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support manufacturing, and others. Ensure customer requirements are implemented, approvals are captured, and compliant with configuration management policies.
• Process capturing and releasing classified documentation and models in accordance with the DOD Contract, and support the FBM team members with markings, formatting, and handling of any documentation as necessary
• Coordinate and implement CDM requirements, policies, and practices
• Release process of documentation, processing CDRLs/SDRLs in accordance with the Contract SOW, Subcontract's SOWs, 1423s, and DD250s
Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases.
Basic Qualifications
• Understanding Configuration Data Management (CDM) and integrating and implementing CDM program requirements
• Understanding Production and Development programs
• Demonstrated, or equivalent knowledge of Configuration Management hardware /design work
• Familiar reading and understanding Contracts
• Familiar working with CDRLs and SOWs
• Familiar working with Sub-Contractor SDRLs and SOWs
• Secret Security Clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance

• Experience with electronic data vaulting and digital data handling using ePDM
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships

• Proficient with and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Supports and process program design & change management production and development design information using LM Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) workflow, including the use and implementation of associated change objects such as Change Tasks (CTs), Change Requests (CRs), or Change Notices (CNs).
• Exposure/or training to drawing and/or CAD to facilitate drawing and model reviews.
• Proficient with and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.

• Government or Military customer experience and/or an understanding of DOD Contracts.
