Supervisory Project Manager

Duties

• Meets customer needs through effective communication, coordination, and delivery of quality services.
• Applies project management, operational, and technical expertise to plan, coordinate, and execute complex projects.
• Oversees projects by managing scope, schedules, resources, risks, and stakeholder requirements.
• Develops project plans, establishes milestones, evaluates performance, and adjusts resources to meet objectives.

• This position is designated Tier 3, Non-Critical Sensitive, Moderate Risk and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Level as a condition of employment.
• TDY travel is required up to 30% of the time.
• This position requires pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.

Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience which includes managing project activities, coordinating logistics and transportation requirements, analyzing operational needs, and supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical programs while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS- 12).

Position may be made permanent without further competition.
