Seventy years and more relevant today than ever. As the Skunk Works continues to drive innovation on the U-2, the nation's premier high altitude, multi-intelligence, all weather ISR platform, we have an opportunity for a seasoned Program/Project Manager.
This position will report to the U-2 Program Office and will be responsible for cost, technical, and schedule performance and execution of various Sustainment and Modernization projects as well as the functional leadership of the program management team.
The selected candidate will define and communicate requirements for functional team support; lead cross functional teams to achieve program objectives; manage selected risks and opportunities related to the projects assigned; develop, implement track and report project execution plans and define and implement corrective actions where required. Will have P&L performance responsibility for a significant portion of U-2 Support and Services, Depot and Modernization contract delivery orders.

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree
• Successful management of projects or programs in a functionally aligned management framework.
• Working knowledge of EVMS methods
• Working knowledge of ISR Operations and Flight Testing for both developmental and fielded weapon systems.
• Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
• Bachelors in Science or related discipline
• Ability to engage and brief US Government Customers at all levels, both Commissioned and NCO.
• Proposal development and transition from proposal to task execution.
• Continuous process improvement experience
• Thorough understanding and demonstrated performance executing modernization and sensor integration programs on an existing USAF platform.
• Project Management Certification

Full-Time Salary Range: $166900.00 - $309900.00
