What You Will Be Doing
As the UAS Test Pilot - Skunk Works MD (Level 5) you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive flight test missions, evaluating aircraft performance against specifications, and coordinating test operations to ensure safety and mission success.
Your responsibilities will include:
Execute flight test plans, including compliance and operational suitability assessments.
Operate diverse test aircraft models during engineering, production acceptance, and flight test support.
Coordinate flight operations efforts and approve cockpit configurations.
Conduct demonstration flights for customers, government officials, and stakeholders.
Document test results and provide recommendations for aircraft improvements.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.
Tests aircraft to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability. Operates models of test aircraft during engineering flight tests, production acceptance, and flight test support through specifically prescribed tests and maneuvers. Coordinates flight operations efforts. Approves cockpit configuration. May conduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials, or other personnel aboard to exhibit aircraft performance, flying qualities and system capabilities.
Basic Qualifications
• Graduate of a formal Test Pilot School
• 8+ Years Experience operating manned or unmanned aircraft under DoD instruction/regulations w/1000 hours minimum PIC time.
• Experience in flight testing with the ability to work with engineering to develop solutions to integration issues and to bridge our customers with the LM engineering teams.
• In-depth knowledge of military publications and understanding of NAS/ICAO requirements for large UAS operations.
• In-depth knowledge/understanding of aircraft survivability strategies and tactics.
• Current Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain program access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Desired Skills
• Experience in all flight test disciplines to include weapons, avionics, and flight sciences
• Instructor/training experience a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Program Management/Leadership Integration
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $166900.00 - $309900.00
