This position is with our Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) competency, in Ft Worth, Texas, joining our rich tradition of creating advanced aircraft instrumentation systems and services.
You will join the Project Integration Office (PIO) team performing Project Integration activities in support of various Aeronautics programs.
You will coordinate all aspects of the execution of large and highly complex initiatives. You will work within the PIO to provide an integrated view of multiple interrelated projects from proposal through implementation by defining project scope and objectives, alignment of multiple project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
You will be producing an integrated resource demand forecast to enable right size talent acquisition and skills development to ensure all project objectives are accomplished.
Manage and integrate FTI-specific command media, which defines the policies, roles, responsibilities, processes, and instructions that govern Aeronautics activities within the FTI competency.
What You Will Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
• Support project management and direction to ensure overall success of assigned initiatives by developing project implementation plans including scope of project, project goals, guide schedule interaction between projects, guide initial project schedule development and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management
• Develops an appropriate implementation plan that focuses on current and future functional performance objectives and compliance with departmental and enterprise standards
• Defines project closeout criteria, in collaboration with project sponsors
• Examines and addresses any scope gaps
• Assessment and coordination of impacts from new or modified scope
• Develop and orchestrate executable project plans, during the bid and proposal stage
• Lead bid and proposal efforts within the FTI competency to assure an effective executable strategy and comprehensive scope coverage
• Support the development and maintenance of FTI proposal standardized work breakdown structure and pricing databases
• Address issues, identify risks and opportunities, handling strategies, and interacting with program offices and customers.
• Develop action and/or mitigation plans to address risks and opportunities.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devises contingency plans
• Work with the FTI CAM community to draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes; estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
• Work with the FTI CAM community and management to perform integrated schedule analysis to ensure scheduled work is executable within staffing goals
• Manage relationships across organizations and divisions to develop a thorough understanding of core business functions and align project with overall business objectives
• Conducts quality assurance audits in support of project quality plan, including project post-mortem assessments and suggest improvements in process or procedure

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, or other Science or bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• CAM Experience / Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience with Project Management, Project Engineering, and/or Systems Engineering (3+ years)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (MS Project, Excel, Word, PPT) (3+ years)

• Proficient with using Microsoft Excel pivot tables, pivot charts, and excel advanced queries

• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision capable of clear communication through multiple levels of senior and executive leadership

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
