You will be the System Engineer Sr Stf (Level 5) for the Skunk Works (Advanced Development Program) team. Our team turns visionary aircraft into reality and is known for building the finest military aircraft in the world.
What You Will Be Doing
As the System Engineer Sr Stf you will be responsible for leading system integration lab activities, coordinating technical exchanges, and delivering program milestones.
Your responsibilities will include:Manage and perform system integration, test, and troubleshooting of hardware/software configurations.Design, install, and integrate equipment for the Systems Integration Labs, including HWIL/Closed-Loop setups.Interface with software developers, systems engineers, and customers to support verification and testing.Oversee product integration, regression, and verification testing across system test labs.Maintain design documentation and adhere to configuration management requirements.What's In It For You

This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale. aerosystems
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position in practice.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline
• Demonstrated experience with Avionics Systems Integration and Test or Laboratory Hardware development and buildup
Desired Skills
• Avionics and SIL experience/background, planning and I&T experience / background, experience with requirements development and integration and test processes, strong laboratory skills, flight test experience
• Experience with Sub-System Integration, working in a System Integration Lab and troubleshooting system integration anomalies
• CompTIA Security+, Network+, or A+ certification desired in candidate would need to obtain certification upon being hired for this position
• Experience in computing systems (Processing, Network, Storage, Display technologies)
• Experience modifying and maintaining system test procedures.
• Proficiency in cable fabrication, installation and troubleshooting (BNC, ENET, RF, Fiber Optic, data).
• Experience with the deployment and configuration management of hardware components
• Experience in LabView
• Experience with RF design and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with communications protocols such as USB, ethernet, serial and video
• Leadership experience in SIL environment
