The Work
As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in our team's success. Your primary responsibilities will include:
-Developing test cases and test procedures to verify product functionality
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
-Utilizing your expertise in Linux, test case architectures, run log analysis, and bash scripting to design and execute comprehensive testing protocols
-Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
-Experience and/or knowledge of Linux, test case architectures, run log analysis, and bash scripting

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
Basic Qualifications
- Qualified candidate must have a DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position or higher
- Proficiency with writing and executing software test procedures
- Experience authoring and executing test procedures
- Experience with trouble shooting (defect identification, root cause analysis)
- Experience with verification of test objectives
- Knowledge of ground test design and data collection for a complex missile defense program
- Must have experience in using analytical tools that assess the system level performance
- Experience with Linux/RedHat
- Experience presenting test analysis or test procedures to customer/stakeholders
Desired Skills
-Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
-Experience with test case architecture
-Knowledge of System Engineering for test campaign and test event design processes in support of system assessment
-Understanding performance characterization of battle management and command and control functions
-Knowledge of MDS kill chain including radar acquisition, tracking, and discrimination; battle manager engagement planning, warfighter interaction, and engagement coordination with other MDS systems; and interceptor acquisition, tracking, and discrimination
-Must be able to work independently as well as part of a geographically distributed team

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
