Schedule: Full-Time | 4x10 Work Schedule (Monday-Thursday)
Position Overview
Join a team supporting one of the nation's most critical nuclear programs. As an I&C Design Engineer, you'll develop and implement engineering solutions for complex facility upgrades, modernization efforts, and mission-critical operations while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Required Technical Skills
-10+ years of Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) design experience within the nuclear or process chemical industry
-Extensive experience designing and developing:
-PLC Systems
-Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
-Process Control Instrumentation
-Control Logic Diagrams
-Loop Diagrams
-P&IDs
-Instrument Indexes
-Setpoint Lists
-Instrument & Control Valve Specifications
-Panel Layouts
-Proficiency using MicroStation 2D CAD software
-Experience performing engineering field walkdowns and validating designs in active facilities
-Ability to develop engineering calculations, technical documentation, and vendor design reviews
-Experience supporting engineering design packages from concept through implementation
Preferred Qualifications
-Professional Engineer (PE) License
-DOE or commercial nuclear experience
-Experience leading complex engineering design efforts
-Knowledge of engineering project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
-Experience working in highly regulated environments
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear, or I&C Engineering
- Advanced degrees considered with equivalent experience
