Overview:


Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Database Engineer to provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.


Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements


• Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architecture, and other related management and technical duties.


• Requires expertise in specialty area.

Required Qualifications:

• Ten (10) years combined experience in each of the following for relational and cloud-based databases:
  
  
  
  • Database development and software engineering/development
  
  
  • Database Design and Data Modeling
  
  
  • Requirements analysis/generation
  
  
  • Developing systems and software architectures
  
  
  
  


• Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.


• 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts. Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose, resolve, and implement solutions for complex enterprise database ingest and export challenges, delivering timely and reliable outcomes across diverse external data sources, environments, and enclaves. –


• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers, ensuring alignment, transparency, and shared understanding across all phases of the project.
