Baer is looking for OpenText Data Migration Consultant for a 3 month Federal Project located in Kansas City, MO.

Title: OpenText Data Migration Consultant
Location: Hybrid - Kansas City, MO (Up to 25%)
Duration: 3 months (Part Time - 20 Hours Per Week)
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Overview

We are seeking an experienced OpenText Data Migration Consultant to support the migration of PeopleSoft data and unstructured content, including PDFs, images, and documents, into target platforms such as OpenText xECM. The consultant will design and execute migration processes, resolve data and ingestion issues, and support end-to-end migration activities in collaboration with functional and business teams.

Description:

• Design, develop, and execute ETL/ELT processes for PeopleSoft data and custom repository content.
• Migrate structured and unstructured data, including PDFs, images, and documents, into OpenText xECM and related target systems.
• Identify and resolve migration issues involving PeopleSoft data structures, custom repository formats, data volumes, and xECM ingestion rules.
• Work with business stakeholders, PeopleSoft administrators, and repository owners to define migration scope, cutover plans, and validation activities.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration verification to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Create and maintain migration documentation, including data mappings, runbooks, migration procedures, and exception-handling processes.
• Support the OpenText xECM Functional Consultant in developing and implementing the end-to-end migration solution.
• Provide technical support during migration, cutover, and post-migration activities.
• Travel to Kansas City up to 25% as required.

Requirement:

• 3+ years of experience with OpenText ECM Tools.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Conversions.
• Experience with data migration and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience migrating structured and unstructured content, including PDFs, images, and documents.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft data structures and custom repositories.
• Experience with data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a Standard Form 85 (SF85) form.
