Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team for the DOE NNSA PRI contract in Washington DC. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical national security efforts within a leading organization. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform full incident lifecycle from escalation to resolution and problem management; prepares and delivers presentations to colleagues, subordinates, and government representatives.
- Assures the proper use of current or requested testing and documentation techniques; produces, reviews substantive and complex documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of areas as identified in the statement of work.
- Triage, collect troubleshooting information, apply known solutions; create, direct, and resolve requests
- Perform routine system operations such as health checks, administer backup and restores, execute configuration changes
- Conduct system analysis and provide input to Microsoft engineering continuous improvement process.
- Participate in prime & customer change control / engineering management processes; document changes to all systems; coordinate and complete deployments and upgrades with Azure Engineering and the customer.
- Develop automation for most common tasks; maintain pre-production and production environments and associated code repository.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 15 years of related experience; or Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 12 years of related experience.
- IAT Level 2 certification(s)
- Experience with Sentris and MS Windows Based Applications in Mid-to-Large Environments; experience with Active Directory Domain Services
- Exchange 2019, SharePoint Server 2019, SQL Server 2019, Skype for Business 2019
- Experience managing a schedule and communicating scheduling requirements to management, multi-tasking/ prioritizing responsibilities and responding rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to successfully pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for SAP.
- Periodic Review within 5 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
- Must be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and
- customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
