REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- 5 years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or 2 years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 3 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements:
- Instrumentation - Experience must include successful completion of sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and a minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics/instrumentation supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Exceptional customer relationship skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Test Engineers with various types of testing to include:
- Fabricating/Machining parts for test support, Infrared Data Collection, UAS/CUAS, Target Vehicle Operations, Aircraft Survivability Equipment, Sensors, lasers, radar, Force Protection Systems, Integrated Base Defense.
- Assist with Instrumentation during Test Set-up, Test Execution, and Test Tear-down.
- Help develop requirements, procedures, and unique test methods.
- Support equipment maintenance and inventory.
