Work you'll do
As a Data Science Analytics and Insights Engineer II on the team, you will be responsible for...
- Building and validating quantitative workforce models that translate organizational workload drivers into defensible full-time equivalent (FTE) requirements across military, civilian, and contractor populations.
- Analyzing, cleaning, and preparing data from government personnel systems, to support modeling and workforce planning.
- Performing feature engineering, regression model calibration, and plausibility banding to improve model accuracy, transparency, and defensibility.
- Collaborating with Senior Data Scientists and AI engineers to integrate scenario-planning parameters and model outputs into a front-end application.
- Partnering with functional and client-facing leads to ensure model assumptions, calculations, and outputs are traceable, explainable, and ready for client validation review.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience building, validating, or maintaining quantitative workforce, staffing, or resource models.
- 2+ years of experience applying advanced statistics in a professional setting, including regression analysis methods, model calibration, diagnostic testing, and interpretation of results.
- 2+ years of experience with machine learning models and feature engineering using structured data.
- 2+ years of experience programming in Python for statistical analysis, data preparation, and model development.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active Secret or above security clearance required
Preferred:
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data from multiple source systems
- Experience with feature engineering, model evaluation, and performance tuning techniques
- Experience developing data visualizations or dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
