Duties
As a RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT), GS-0308-11, you will work with non-homogenous work centers throughout the wing to integrate planning, development and implementation of knowledge programs and systems. Provide guidance to Wing leadership moving the organization towards the implementation of effective knowledge management practices. Manage overall processes for organizations to plan, coordinate, share and control information. Manage the Records Management (RM) and Records Life Cycle Program. Perform other duties as assigned.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must have 36 months or 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems.
Must be certified IAW DoD 8570.01-M, Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002, Clinger Cohen Act of 1996 and obtain Special Experience Identifier 264 IAW current AF directives. Information Assurance - Technical Level II, IAW AF directives.

- This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.

- Conducts travel to and from offsite worksite(s) from the normal work area to perform assigned duties. This may include Operating Locations (OL) and/or Geographically Separated Units (GSU).
- Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
- For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
- Individual must possess a secret clearance and may be required to obtain a top secret clearance with eligibility to access sensitive compartmented information (TS-SCI).
- May be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
- Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate Tricare Reserve Select eligibility.
- Applicant must complete a baseline Pre-Placement Screening for General Schedule positions within 30 days of appointment.
