To qualify for a Quality Assurance Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-03 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-02 or GS-11 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
Additional information
- Develop guidance for collection and analysis of quality assurance related data, procedures or workflows.
- Evaluate industry quality management systems and processes against regulatory, technical and administrative requirements to identify trends.
- Perform contract Technical Review to identify the quality and technical requirements of a product or service.
- Deliver briefings to upper Management when conveying decision quality information to senior acquisition officials.
- Develop written after action reports as a result of attending or leading a meeting or participating in a conference or seminar.
- Interpret Quality Assurance problems derived from in-depth investigations.
- Validate functional data to the maturity and risks associated with contractor quality systems and processes.

- Performing analysis, preparing reports and program briefings, identifying problem areas, and arranging for timely and effective resolutions.
- Providing authoritative technical guidance, advice and oversight for field implementation of policies, procedures, and plans.
- Solving complex and technical problems and developing specialized policies.
