Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to support the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of complex enterprise systems and infrastructure. The Senior Systems Engineer will work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure reliable, secure, and effective IT operations in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, and SCCM/MECM.
• Support enterprise network, virtualization, and storage environments.
• Troubleshoot complex systems and infrastructure issues and provide effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, technical procedures, and network diagrams.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health.
• Implement and maintain security controls and DoD security requirements, including STIGs and vulnerability management.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, installations, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and system implementation activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to support mission requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems administration, or related IT infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and Microsoft enterprise environments.
• Experience with networking, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements and security best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues in an enterprise environment.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting DoD or federal government environments.
• Experience with VMware, Cisco networking, SAN, ACAS, HBSS, and DoD STIGs.
• Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, Microsoft, VMware, or Cisco.

Salary Disclosure:

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
