Work Arrangement: Primarily based at a contractor site within 30 driving miles of Colorado Springs/ Washington, D.C., with onsite support at Department of State facilities as required
Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Java Developer (Programmer 1) to help build web and backend applications and services supporting a credentialing and case management system. You'll join a development team creating next-generation customer engagement systems for federal service agencies using Java/Spring REST APIs, modern web technologies, and a continuous integration environment.
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and an active Final DoD Secret Security Clearance.

- Develop enterprise applications using Java.
- Build web and backend applications and services.
- Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs.
- Support credentialing and case management system capabilities.
- Develop front-end functionality using technologies such as AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Participate in Agile software development activities.
- Work within a continuous integration environment.
- Use Java development tools including Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
- Collaborate with developers building customer engagement solutions for federal service agencies.
- US Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- 2+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications.
- At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java.
- At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment.
- At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
- Active Final DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Located in Colorado or the DMV area.
- Experience supporting a large-scale federal IT program.
- Experience working within the SAFe Agile delivery framework.
