Job Description

Software/Integration Engineer needed for a Contract-to-hire opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Melbourne, FL.

*Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this role.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and cleared Software/Integration Engineer to support software integration, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting efforts within a Linux-based environment. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript or Java, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, and demonstrates the ability to collaborate effectively across software and infrastructure teams. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is expected.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent within 90 days of being hired. This position may also require occasional travel to Patrick Space Force Base.

Key Responsibilities:
•Leverage experience in cloud development with a strong preference for expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build robust cloud-based applications.
•Demonstrate familiarity with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments, which is highly desired for this role.
•Ensure that the applications are scalable, secure, and cost-effective by utilizing the best practices and services provided by AWS.
•Engage in daily interactions with customers to understand their requirements and provide suitable cloud-based solutions.
•Prepare architectural designs, implementation plans, and technical roadmaps that align with organizational and mission goals.
•Produce detailed documentation to support the design, development, and deployment processes, ensuring clarity and reproducibility.
•Adapt to support various mission areas, demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to achieving mission success.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
•Active TS/SCI clearance.
•Security+ Certification or any DOD IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of being hired.

Preferred Experience:
•Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
•Experience working in a dynamic team environment.
•Experience working with full stack web development.
•Cloud development experience with a strong preference for expertise in •Amazon Web Services (AWS).
•Experience with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments is highly desired.
•Substantive experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using AWS services.

Preferred Additional Skills:
•Prior field experience.
•Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
•Experience working in a dynamic team environment.

•Cloud development experience with a strong preference for expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
