Network System Administrator

*An Active Secret clearance is required for consideration*

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Network System Administrator to support a customer located in Fort Rucker, AL . This position is a full-time role that will be 100% onsite . As a Network System Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing network and server infrastructure while supporting mission-critical operations in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily administration of a network and server environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain system software.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and deploy effective solutions.
• Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and the installation of new applications and equipment.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore plans.
• Assist in evaluating emerging technologies to optimize network efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure reliable network operations.
• Support infrastructure availability, security, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance
• IAT Level II Certification , including one of the following:
  • CCNA Security
  • CySA+
  • GICSP
  • GSEC
  • Security+ CE
  • CND
  • SSCP
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in networking, network administration, network management, or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting enterprise network and server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 **depending on experience**
• Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave if required by Law
