Network Architect

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Architect to support a company focused on delivering mission-critical enterprise network architecture and cybersecurity solutions in support of Department of Defense operations. This position is on-site in Honolulu, HI. The Network Architect will lead the design, implementation, and modernization of secure, scalable network infrastructures supporting classified and unclassified environments. Join a high-impact mission supporting operational readiness and secure communications for critical defense initiatives across the Pacific theater.

Responsibilities for the Network Architect include:

• Design, architect, and implement secure enterprise network solutions supporting DoD and Joint Command environments.
• Develop and maintain network architectures, routing strategies, firewall policies, QoS configurations, and cross-domain solutions.
• Collaborate with senior military and civilian leadership to provide technical guidance and strategic network recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with DoD architecture frameworks, RMF requirements, and mission-specific operational objectives.

Required Qualifications for the Network Architect include:

• 10+ years of senior-level network architecture or network engineering experience supporting DoD, Joint Command, or enterprise environments.
• Expertise with network architecture, routing protocols, firewall policy management, Quality of Service (QoS), cloud technologies, and cross-domain solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Architecture, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Must possess one or more active certifications: CCNP, CCDP, CAP, SecurityX (formerly CASP+ CE), CISM, CISSP (or Associate), or GSLC.
• Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.

Compensation for the Network Architect include:

Salary Range: $200,000 - $215,000 depending on experience
