Job Description

Duties

  • You will track and coordinate complex explosives movements, serve as the backup production controller, and brief senior executives on operational changes.
  • You will independently generate detailed event schedules, compile leadership nightly orders, and transmit daily operational reports to agency headquarters.
  • You will chair risk assessment boards to identify hazards, and advise on root cause analysis cases to resolve systemic deficiencies and improve system readiness.
  • You will analyze short-range logistics and facility requirements to draft master schedules that coordinate tactical weapons and equipment handling.
  • You will coordinate logistics between contractors, supply departments, and technical teams to ensure scheduling and documentation support contract requirements.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NJ-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning and coordinating fleet weapons production schedules, logistics support, and contractor operations to facilitate waterfront handling activities, manage operational risk, and maintain command operations.
