The Government Property Supervisor serves as an integral member of the Supply Chain organization.
Responsibilities include the maintenance of a compliant Government Property system for the our Cambridge facility and all other campuses.
Is responsible for a wide range of Government property matters and the supervision of property management professionals.

Is responsible for a wide range of Government property matters and the supervision of property management professionals.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Interacts and coordinates property related activities with the Program Offices, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and government property personnel when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining all property management policies and procedures.
- Track monthly metrics and conduct periodic audits of all Government Furnished Property (GFP) transfer requests.
- Responsible for all property closeout activity.
- Oversee all property related matters in all corporate campuses, to include but not limited to, inventory support. training and process improvement.
- Create, review and reconcile all GFP Transfer requests.
- Assist with the review and reconciliation of GFP in bound and out bound requests.
- Facilitates the extension of existing GFP cases.
- Reconciliation and assignment of property identification for GFP items.
- Assist with loan request reconciliation and assignment of property identifications for GFP items.
- Work closely with customers and Government personnel on all GFP transfer requests of Government property.
- Responsible for all subcontractor oversight. Responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all subcontractor audits.
Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of FAR 52.245-1, FAR Part 45, DFARS 245.6, 252.245-7003, 7005, and other applicable regulations. .
- Experience with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other internal/external audits.
- Experience with bar-code scanning and physical inventories.
- RFID knowledge.
- Knowledge of process mapping and standard practice instruction/desk guide creation.
- National Property Management Association (NPMA) certification level Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS).
- Proficiency with Epicor or other ERP reporting tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to analyze, discuss and present results/reports to all levels of the organization.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Ability to work independently and seek out answers to problems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Some travel is required.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant field of study required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience
- 3 years of government property (equipment and material) management experience required.
- 1 year of supervisory experience in government property management required.
