Job Description

The On‑Site Supervisor serves as the senior contractor lead responsible for directing daily operations, supervising personnel across multiple shifts and locations, and ensuring all work performed under the contract meets USCIS standards for quality, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Communicate assignments and projects to the contractor staff.
  • Provide recommendations for the CPM, including workload balances and workflow.
  • Provide required training to ensure all assigned duties can be accomplished.
  • Provide weekly reports on team and individual work accomplishments, problems, progress in
  • mastering tasks and work processes and individual team needs.
  • Serve as first point of contact to resolve issues between the COR and a contractor employee(professionalism, performance, time and attendance, and leave issues, etc.).


Qualifications

  • Minimum/General Experience: Four (4) years of overall experience obtained within the last ten (10) years, including supervision of 25+ employees supporting a project and/or contract working multiple shifts at more than one (1) geographically different location.
  • Minimum Education/Credentials: Bachelor's Degree in one (1) of the following disciplines: Program Management, Business or Public Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, or related fields. USCIS will allow a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in lieu of the educational requirements

Position Details:
  • Full Time, US Citizen, Non-Exempt (SCA)
  • Hourly Rate: $46.42, PTO, Health Insurance
  • Drug Free Workplace. This prohibition includes legally prescribed medical marijuana or when legal under state law.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while conducting meetings, reviewing casework, or overseeing team activities
  • Ability to move throughout office environments to coordinate staff, monitor workflow, and address operational needs
  • Ability to lift and carry laptops, files, and training materials typically up to 20 pounds
  • Sufficient visual acuity to review detailed documentation, case files, reports, and workflow metrics
  • Ability to travel between geographically dispersed work locations as required for supervision, coordination, and government interface
Mental Demands
  • Strong leadership and decision‑making skills to supervise large, multi‑shift teams and resolve operational challenges
  • Ability to maintain focus for extended periods while reviewing reports, monitoring productivity, and assessing workload distribution
  • Effective communication skills to serve as the first point of contact for COR‑related issues, including professionalism, performance, and attendance matters
  • Ability to analyze workflow, identify bottlenecks, and recommend adjustments to ensure timely completion of assignments
  • Sound judgment when addressing personnel concerns, training needs, and contract‑related requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, including reporting, training, scheduling, and issue resolution
  • Capacity to adapt to evolving USCIS requirements, operational tempo changes, and high‑visibility tasking
  • Ability to mentor staff and ensure they possess the competencies and training required to perform assigned duties independently
