Senior Director, Adaptive Mission Logistics

Overview

VTG is seeking a Sr. Digital Transformation Lead, responsible for project leadership, growth, operations, and execution performance of Air Systems Digital Transformation projects enabled by digital capabilities. The Sr. Digital Transformation Lead is also responsible for supporting the identification, qualification, proposing, responding, and execution of new contracts within the Federal Government, specifically the DoW Air Systems.

What will you do?

• Operational responsibilities:
  • Moderate to significant responsibility for advancing the Adaptive Mission Logistics Line of Business for Air Systems with an emphasis on Digital Transformation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Operational Readiness for Air Systems / Air Frames.
  • Ability to understand the DoW Market through Qualification and Capture of Opportunities.
  • Lead and execute the response to Proposals for Opportunities.
  • Execution depth [Project Leadership, Solution comprehension, and overall Client facing skills] of Projects
  • Strong leadership and command of all projects and requirements contributing to the success of the projects under her / his responsibility.
  • Source new ideas from all levels in the organization, as well as from external advisers or consultants.
  • Communicate financial performance of the project across all factors - Resources, ODCs and Travel.
  • Develop Digital Transformation Solutions, Project financials and workforce staffing forecasts for measurement against proposed values.
  • Conduct comprehensive monthly program business reviews for all projects under their responsibility.
  • Work across line and indirect organizations to identify opportunities for improving quality, efficiency, and cost savings for Air Systems and related Commands.
  • Clearly communicate achievements and growth areas of the projects and within the Account
  • Keep management apprised of customer and competitor environments.
  • Promote and oversee compliance with all corporate operational policies and standards.
• Growth responsibilities:
  • Actively contributes to defining and implementing the vision and strategic roadmap to support a transformational and growth-oriented organization.
  • Identify and understand federal government customer requirements and resulting business opportunities.
  • Identify and contribute to managing key partner relationships from routine to moderately complex arrangements.
  • Participate in Government / Industry forums and trade shows to cultivate business opportunities.
  • Contribute and/or Lead to pipeline development, capture strategies and proposal development.

• 12+ years' related experience in Digital Transformation, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality or Engineering services industry with demonstrated project performance.
• Experience with Air Systems, Air Frames and related Commands [Ex. NAVAIR, USAF]
• Proven experience in strategic planning, execution, and results.
• Knowledge of federal business acquisition process.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; thorough, clear, and timely oral and written communications; Ability to make formal presentations.
• Demonstrated subject matter credibility.
• Attention to detail and superior time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). PowerBI and Power Automate are a "Plus"
• Eligibility for U.S. security clearance.
• Willing to travel.

VTG's estimated starting pay range is $165,000 - $190,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
