Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Information Assurance Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Washington, DC. This role requires deep expertise in information security, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive information assurance strategies and policies
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Provide technical guidance and support for security controls implementation
• Lead security training and awareness programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices
• Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in information assurance and cybersecurity
• Expert knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks
• Experience with cloud security, encryption, and access control mechanisms
• Strong understanding of threat modeling and incident response
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.
