Red Gate is seeking a Program Manager to be responsible for leading the successful execution of a complex government contract by overseeing program operations, managing personnel, and ensuring high-quality performance across all task areas. This role serves as the primary point of contact for contract management, providing leadership, strategic oversight, and operational direction while maintaining strong relationships with government stakeholders and internal leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall execution and day-to-day management of a government contract.
- Manage contractor personnel, assign work, and ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
- Monitor contract performance, schedules, budgets, and resource utilization.
- Track program costs and prepare financial reports to support contract management and decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate program risks while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and quality standards.
- Coordinate with government customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and program execution.
- Provide regular program status updates, performance metrics, and executive-level briefings.
- Ensure contract deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with customer expectations.
- Foster collaboration across distributed teams and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing government contracts or programs as a Contracts Program Manager.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Active Secret security clearance.
