The Analyst provides strategic and analytical support for Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives focused on advancing manufacturing innovation and technology development. This role serves as a liaison between government stakeholders and Manufacturing Innovation Institutes (MIIs), supporting program oversight, stakeholder engagement, technology assessments, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical, project management, and communication skills with experience supporting federal programs or technology-focused initiatives.

The Analyst provides strategic and analytical support for Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives focused on advancing manufacturing innovation and technology development. This role serves as a liaison between government stakeholders and Manufacturing Innovation Institutes (MIIs), supporting program oversight, stakeholder engagement, technology assessments, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical, project management, and communication skills with experience supporting federal programs or technology-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide analytical and program management support for Manufacturing Innovation Institute (MII) initiatives and technology-focused programs.
- Evaluate manufacturing innovation efforts, commercialization strategies, and organizational performance to identify opportunities, challenges, and emerging trends.
- Develop reports, executive briefings, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with government, industry, academic, and nonprofit stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, and other engagements to facilitate collaboration across the manufacturing innovation community.
- Support strategic planning, program reviews, and special initiatives related to advanced manufacturing and technology transition.
- Monitor program activities, track action items, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while responding to evolving priorities and emerging requirements.
- Prepare presentations, correspondence, and other documentation for senior leadership.
- Perform research and analysis to support policy development, program execution, and continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Military or industry experience may be substituted in lieu of specific educational requirements.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in technology policy, federal program management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, operational planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting executive-level decision-making.
- Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders across government, industry, and academia.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) organizations or federal research and development programs.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Innovation Institutes (MIIs), advanced manufacturing, technology transition, or industrial base initiatives.
- Experience evaluating commercialization strategies, technology portfolios, or innovation ecosystems.
- Experience preparing executive briefings, program assessments, and strategic communications for senior leaders.
