Pay Range: C$50 INC

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) / Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Senior Developer to join our team. This role involves system design and development using Informatica capabilities to meet business requirements, following best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Eligibility for Reliability Status Clearance (must have resided in Canada for the last 5 years).
• 10 years of overall ETL development experience in a large IT organization.
• Minimum of 5 years of strong hands-on development experience in Informatica Powercenter and IICS / IDMC for at least 3 years.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries (using databases like Oracle and MS SQL) for data sources and visualization.
• Solid knowledge and experience with SQL and relational platforms (Oracle or SQL Server).
• Experience working within a cross-functional agile team (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe, etc.) to provide client delivery.
• Very good communication and client management skills.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Agile development practices and experience with project management tools such as BitBucket, Jira, etc.
• Strong professional consulting skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally in business terms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Translate detailed specifications into Informatica/IICS ETL process design.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and document ETL processes.
• Conduct unit tests and assist in test preparations to ensure data integrity, data quality, and program quality.
• Assist with troubleshooting of ETL processes in Quality Assurance/SIT or Production environments.
• Work closely with software developers, architects, business analysts, designers, and client representatives using an Agile approach.
• Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business users.
