The role supports platform foundation, business configuration, access administration, data quality, testing, release readiness, production deployment, Hypercare, and operational transition. Success requires strong hands-on Salesforce administration, a configuration-first mindset, disciplined security and change-management practices, and the ability to translate approved business needs into maintainable platform configuration.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Administer Salesforce development, testing, and production environments; support sandbox planning, environment readiness, access provisioning, refresh coordination, and controlled configuration changes.
· Configure and maintain users, license assignments, roles, public groups, queues, permission sets, profiles where required, field-level security, sharing rules, record-level access, and other approved least-privilege controls.
· Configure Salesforce applications, standard and custom objects, fields, relationships, record types, page layouts, Lightning pages, Dynamic Forms, validation rules, approval processes, notifications, and related platform components.
· Build and maintain declarative automation using Salesforce Flow and standard platform capabilities for case routing, task generation, approvals, notifications, status progression, and other approved business workflows.
· Configure and support Service Cloud case-management capabilities for intake, profile and lifecycle management, reviews, workload assignment, correspondence, status tracking, audit history, and operational processing.
· Administer Experience Cloud configuration supporting external-user access, portal membership, navigation, page visibility, applicant profiles, online submissions, document upload, status tracking, messaging, and Requests for Information responses.
· Create and maintain reports, dashboards, list views, audit outputs, and monitoring information supporting workload management, processing visibility, service-level tracking, and business decision-making.
· Support data administration and migration by assisting with imports and exports, validating target objects and mappings, reviewing mock-load results, reconciling records, and helping maintain data quality.
· Coordinate Salesforce-side configuration and access requirements for approved integrations with the Digital Integration Platform, SharePoint Online, email, notification, document, reporting, and other enterprise services.
· Maintain source-controlled Salesforce metadata and support CI/CD pipelines, deployment packages, environment promotions, release validation, rollback planning, and production-readiness activities.
· Perform configuration testing, security and access validation, regression support, test-data setup, defect triage, and troubleshooting; support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
· Monitor platform health, user access, automation behavior, reports, audit information, and production operations; investigate issues and coordinate resolution with developers, architects, and platform owners.
· Participate in Agile sprints, Program Increment planning, backlog refinement, estimation, sprint reviews, demonstrations, retrospectives, release planning, and technical working sessions.
· Maintain configuration documentation, access matrices, administrator guides, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials; support deployment, cutover validation, Hypercare, stabilization, and operational transition.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration and configuration experience supporting enterprise applications or complex business workflows.
· Strong experience with Salesforce declarative capabilities, including Flow, Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, objects, record types, page layouts, validation rules, approval processes, queues, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
· Hands-on experience administering Salesforce Service Cloud and familiarity with Experience Cloud or comparable external-user portal configuration.
· Working knowledge of Salesforce security and access administration, including roles, permission sets, profiles, field-level security, sharing rules, record-level access, auditability, and least-privilege principles.
· Experience administering Salesforce environments and sandboxes and supporting source control, CI/CD, metadata deployment, environment promotion, release validation, and production readiness.

· Experience supporting Salesforce data management, including imports and exports, data-quality controls, mapping validation, duplicate handling, migration testing, reconciliation, and production conversion.
· Ability to troubleshoot user access, declarative automation, data, reporting, and configuration issues and coordinate resolution across technical and business teams.
· Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with architects, developers, business analysts, integration and data resources, testers, DevSecOps engineers, trainers, and customer stakeholders.
· Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage assigned work through configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
