York is seeking an experienced Senior Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead our industrial security operations and serve as the critical nexus between our Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs.
In this role, you will oversee a dedicated team of security professionals, driving cross-functional compliance across NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), ICDs, and customer-specific directives. You will be responsible for physical, personnel, operational, and information security across diverse program boundaries, maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
This role will be fully on-site in our Greenwood Village, Colorado office.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Enterprise Management:
- Direct, mentor, and supervise a team of industrial security specialists, security analysts, and physical security personnel.
- Establish team priorities, workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and resource allocation across multiple facilities and security disciplines.
DoD & IC Convergence:
- Serve as the primary security interface and subject matter expert bridging DoD (DCSA) directives and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs 503, 704, 705).
- Harmonize compliance requirements, security overlays, and program protection strategies across collateral, Special Access Program (SAP), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environments.
- Maintain strong liaison relationships with government agency sponsors, security directors, and contracting officers across both sectors.
Program Management & Compliance:
- Oversee facility security clearances (FCL) and manage security inspections/audits conducted by DCSA, IC customer representatives, and external auditors.
- Guide the accreditation, maintenance, and oversight of cleared facilities, including closed areas and Secure Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
Personnel & Operational Security:
- Direct enterprise personnel security processing via DISS, NBIS/e-QIP, and agency-specific clearance databases.
- Lead the company-wide Insider Threat Program and OPSEC strategy, ensuring continuous evaluation and threat mitigation.
- Manage foreign travel, foreign contact reporting, and export control alignment (ITAR/EAR) in coordination with legal and compliance teams.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI); willingness to undergo a counterintelligence polygraph if required.
- CDSE FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.
- 7+ years of progressive security experience within the US defense/intelligence industry, including direct supervisory/team management experience.
- Proven track record managing security operations across both DoD and IC customer frameworks.
- Knowledge & Systems: Deep expertise with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), SEADs, and relevant ICDs (704, 705, etc.). Hands-on proficiency with DISS, NISS, NBIS, and IC-specific systems.
- Willingness to work full-time in our Greenwood Village, CO office; this position does not support remote or hybrid work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial Security Professional (ISP®) certification.
- Experience managing SCIF construction, accreditation, and ICD 705 physical security standards.
- Familiarity with COMSEC management and SAP security administration.
