Description
Senior Systems Integrator
Location: Arlington, VA (Pentagon)
Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Integrator to manage and direct day to day IT support operations for the U.S. Department of the Army at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
In this role, you will support a program that delivers IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to ensure the secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Military Intelligence Enterprise IT systems. You will be responsible for leading major technical and engineering projects of above normal complexity.
This is a high visibility role supporting U.S. government, military, and coalition partners. You will serve as the primary interface between Leidos and multiple government stakeholders, helping ensure mission success in a dynamic operational environment. You will also lead a small to medium sized team of IT professionals while overseeing daily operations and technical project execution.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and provide technical leadership to a team of technicians.
- Lead, manage, and execute government approved projects documented in the ticketing system.
- Supervise technicians through project completion and coordinate activities assigned to specific projects.
- Ensure uninterrupted system operations by providing installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware and software components using industry standards and approved processes.
- Isolate and resolve complex hardware and software issues involving applications, operating systems, hardware, communications infrastructure, or combinations of these technologies.
- Perform systems administration for desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks, including desktop management responsibilities such as account monitoring, security, operating system installations, and other system related functions.
- Administer Active Directory services, member servers, and storage. Integrate new technologies into existing and new environments, including enterprise system transitions and migrations.
- Support the transition and migration of networks, develop network addressing schemes, and administer Microsoft domains.
- Provide input and assist with the planning, research, design, development, testing, implementation, and integration of hardware systems and software applications.
- Plan and perform engineering research, design development, and other assignments in accordance with design, engineering, and customer specifications.
- Perform a broad range of analytical tasks related to the design and implementation of personnel, hardware, software, support facilities, and equipment.
- Provide input during in progress reviews of IT projects while maintaining effective communication and required reporting with government leadership and site leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance in DISS.
- Current DoD 8570 (8140) IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, or higher.
- Current Microsoft Server 2019 Administrator certification or newer, or the ability to obtain certification after hire.
- Current Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or related certification, or the ability to obtain certification after hire.
- Advanced experience designing, evaluating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Server 2019 or newer using current technologies.
- Experience leading small to medium sized IT projects.
- Experience using Microsoft Terminal Services and system recovery tools.
- Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi.
- Experience implementing virtual desktop solutions.
- Experience performing patching and system upgrades in classified environments.
- Experience with ACAS, Azure, DHCP, DNS, HBSS, Hyper V, Microsoft 365, SCCM, SharePoint, SQL, SMTP, Active Directory, and VMware.
- Understanding of help desk ticketing tools, including Microsoft System Center and ServiceNow.
- Ability to upgrade Windows servers and plan, deliver, operate, and manage Microsoft server infrastructure solutions across multiple solution areas within a DoD enterprise environment.
- Expert knowledge of operational support activities and administration of Windows server and desktop infrastructure.
- Advanced PowerShell knowledge with the ability to develop custom scripts for a variety of purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL certification.
- Experience with Cisco UCS.
- Understanding of the Army enterprise environment.
