Pay Range: $94,000 - $118,000 per year
Auria is looking to hire a Software Engineer l to support our MELCO program. This role can be remote or hybrid in Colorado Springs, CO or Bethesda, MD.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Create software and performance requirements from subsystem product requirements
- Design and develop new software or enhancements in line with software requirements
- Integrate and test software components alongside senior engineers
- Debug software and correct defects under senior engineer guidance
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
- Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.
- Entry-level experience in software and/or software product development
- Familiarity with one or more languages, including C / C++ or Java
- Exposure to software application development on Linux, Windows, or Web platforms
- Exposure to agile or incremental software engineering practices
- Strong communication and writing skills, with a proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree or greater in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical degree with demonstrated experience.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
- Coursework or project experience in optimization, modeling and simulation, or algorithm design • Exposure to developing mission-critical or high-availability real-time software
