Job Description

Duties

  • You will serve as the primary contact for PHNSY and IMF Detachment Stirling (PDS) supply operations and responsible for all supply documentation in accordance with the applicable regulations and/or command policy.
  • You will develop and initiate admin procedures (i.e. standard operating procedures, desk guides, etc.) and controls to ensure that the supply and material support work is accomplished in an orderly manner within the time and budget constraints.
  • You will provide comprehensive oversight to ensure the PDS non-standard requirements align with NAVSUP WSS and DLA acquisition requirements while meeting Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements.
  • You will develop and execute the planning and coordination of complex material management plans for PDS.
  • You will be responsible for all work assigned to PDS pertaining to the execution of the logistics for material and consumable handling from job planning to job execution but may be extended to other related work.
  • You will exercise both administrative and technical supervision over subordinates for Supply ordering, receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory management.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing shipyard supply IT programs, such as Material Acquisition Technology (MAT) and (Material Requirements) MRQT, as well as a knowledge of supply chain and supply stock system operations and procedures involving material management, to accomplish shipyard mission requirements; developing and implementing administrative procedures for material acquisition and procurement and determining the proper path to expedite material requirements; and planning, coordinating, and executing complex material plans to support supply operations in meeting shipyard availability schedules.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
