- You will perform all facets of relational database administration to design, integrate, secure, and sustain a enterprise data management environment.
- You will manage multiple production, staging, training, and test database instances to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- You will install, configure, patch, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS), maintaining compliance with all applicable security and regulatory requirements.
- You will develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive database security controls and procedures to protect enterprise data assets from unauthorized access, intrusion, and data spillage.
- You will serve as a technical advisor to leadership, functional teams, and program managers on database performance, enhancements, automation, and troubleshooting.

- Participate in a continuous learning program as described in SECNAVINS 5239.20A and SECNAV M-5239.2. An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous learning signed by both the employee and supervisor.
- Obtain the required credentials within 12 months of appointment and maintain those credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for DCWF primary role of Data Management Administrator Proficiency level Advance.

- Experience administering enterprise Oracle databases and AWS cloud database environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) Relational Database Service (RDS) or Azure SQL Database.
- Experience managing full-lifecycle enterprise database infrastructure, including installation, configuration, patch management, and strict security compliance.
- Experience optimizing database operations through proactive performance tuning, troubleshooting, and robust backup and recovery strategies.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise systems to ensure maximum integrity, availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical HR data systems.
