GOVERNMENT AGENCY: U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA)
POSITION INFORMATION: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain USCGA IT systems and infrastructure
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users
- Implement and configure software and hardware solutions
- Ensure system security and compliance with standards
- Collaborate with other IT staff to support mission-critical applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in systems administration
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
