Job Description
We are seeking a Network Engineer to support and maintain a large-scale enterprise network environment. This is an onsite position supporting critical network infrastructure across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network administration, routing protocols, Cisco technologies, and troubleshooting complex network issues within an enterprise environment.
As part of a team of Network Technicians and Engineers, you will help maintain and optimize enterprise network operations, resolve outages, and support mission-critical networking equipment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network devices.
Support a large-scale network consisting of routers, switches, wireless access points, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and WAN acceleration technologies.
Work closely with Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network outages and performance issues.
Perform network administration activities utilizing command-line interfaces.
Configure and support routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
Create, manage, and update maintenance and incident tickets using HPE Service Manager.
Escalate issues as appropriate and perform additional technical tasks as directed.
Follow established processes, procedures, and security policies.
Support onsite troubleshooting efforts and serve as a field technical resource when network issues require in-person resolution.
Collaborate with regional and site leadership to ensure reliable network operations.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance.
IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or equivalent).
CCNA certification or ability to obtain CCNA within six months of hire.
Strong network engineering and network administration experience.
Experience supporting Cisco routers and Cisco switches.
Experience with enterprise routing and switching technologies.
Working knowledge of BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues.
Familiarity with TACLANE encryption devices.
Fundamental understanding of the OSI Model.
Experience using network command-line interfaces for configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements:
8+ years of relevant network engineering experience with no degree
6+ years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree
4+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting enterprise environments that include technologies such as:

McAfee network security solutions
