Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge of the DTS, worldwide locations of DoD Transportation Air Terminals, and the port codes to and from those locations in order to make decisions related to transportation arrangements and providing advice to personnel and customers. 2) Fundamental knowledge of automated data and cargo handling systems employed in controlling the movement and maintaining visibility of material transported in the DTS is necessary to ensure property is transported safely and efficiently. 3) Ability to properly interpret and apply information contained in various transportation manuals and regulations to support assignments and help resolve problems of a wide variety, e.g., the various methods of movement for personal property and the type and quality of property that can be moved by Government expense. 4) Ability to receive, enter, and process data associated with air clearance requests and related processes in FACTS and any other required AIS. 5) Must clearly understand and adhere to Movement knowledge of operations and policies of the organizations as well as knowledge of computer information systems, transportation systems, and logistics systems. 6) Knowledge, skill, and ability to identify and prioritize time sensitive tasks. Certain assignments require expedited requests and priority handling, which will be used to perform shipment expediting services and provide customers with cargo shipment and clearance-related information, including air rates and Air Mobility Command (AMC) charges. 7) Knowledge of air eligibility challenges, exemptions, and need in order to modify consignor/consignee when necessary. This allows the employee the ability to provide timely responses to inquiries relative to challenge shipment status, shipment information, and shipment assistance.

- You will provide cargo management control and processing of requirements received from government and commercial agencies requiring assistance with air clearance eligibility, commercial air or for CONUS and OCONUS units.
- You will review shipment details to determine air eligibility of cargo as well as expedite, release, and verify military air standard compliance criteria.
- You will advise customers on Green Sheet and Purple Sheet requirements. Ensure Green Sheet cargo has been received by aerial port of embarkation before submitting the request in Financial and Air Clearance Transportation Systems.
- You will process Advanced Transportation Cargo Movement Document data received in batch processing from the Electronics Distribution Standard System.
