Description
@Orchard LLC is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to support a highly visible NOAA National Ocean Service (NOS) program. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting coastal or marine science projects. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate program activities between internal and external stakeholders.
- Support meeting and presentation activities for the program leadership.
- Support initiatives that expand program capabilities and track network activities
- Review technical reports and provide summaries of regional progress to the leadership.
- Work with the grants team to manage tracking tools and update report templates.
- Help develop new funding opportunities, manage the proposal selection process, and assist in establishing new awards.
- Monitor the certification status of partners and manage the renewal timeline.
- Draft final decision documents for executive approval and signature.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and communications leads to converting milestones into public outreach materials.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years or Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience with NOAA and/or any NOAA-funded program relating to coastal or marine science research is required.
- Proven ability to work well with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent verbal and written skills for engaging with diverse program staff.
