At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As an Intel Ops Support, a typical day will include the following duties:
GCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Intelligence Operations Support to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the below.
- The resource shall serve as the Division's primary POC for cable-writing expertise. Monitor all incoming cable traffic and routinely draft and coordinate on operation cables on a daily basis.
- The resource shall prepare and present information before Review Boards.
- The resource shall support deconfliction efforts as part of operational Teams. The resource shall coordinate on projects, review material for protection of project equites and formatting to ensure the project is not lost on equites.
- The resource shall serve as a Group Action Officer. The resource shall document actions in web-based ops management/tracking databases.
- The resource shall provide SOO-related ops management support, to include CNE and media exploitation.
- The resource shall assist staff officers with the coordination of project and targeting data with other customer partners.
- The resource shall support specific projects and will support broader USG efforts.
- The resource shall assist staff officers with operational coordination and planning, community outreach, monitoring incoming communications in sponsor systems.
- The resource shall create, format, coordinate, and monitor operational correspondence via official and informal Customer communication systems.
- The resource shall respond to correspondence traffic, conduct traces, and provide appropriate guidance to the field as part of overall program management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience of technical collection capabilities and methods in relation to intelligence gaps.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in cable writing, report writing, dissemination, and coordination in support of technical operations.
- Demonstrated experience in the ability to brief review boards, management, HQS, and field elements.
- Demonstrated experience with Center for Cyber Intelligence structure, function and authorities.
- Demonstrated experience with providing SOO support to cyber projects.
- Demonstrated experience working with cyber (Customer) and/or HUMINT-enabled projects.
- Demonstrated experience working with field stations.
- Demonstrated experience in proactively engaging with peers, management, and mission partners to completed tasks in a timely manner, initiating conversations with relevant stakeholders and following up to ensure there is no gap in communication.
