4481 Product Designer

OVERVIEW:

As a Product Designer, you'll support the Recruiting Platform that is a mission-focused digital ecosystem that modernizes recruiting operations through Salesforce technologies, human-centered design, process automation, data-driven insights, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Salesforce Product Designer will work closely with stakeholders, Product Managers, Recruiters, Business Analysts, Developers, and end users to design intuitive, scalable, and impactful user experiences that improve recruiting effectiveness and operational efficiency. This role requires the ability to apply human-centered design methodologies to solve complex business challenges within a Salesforce environment.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Design user-centered experiences for Salesforce-based recruiting applications, workflows, and digital services.
• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand user needs and business objectives.
• Develop journey maps, process flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.
• Translate complex business and recruiting requirements into intuitive user experiences and streamlined workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Leads, Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Define and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and experience requirements supporting Agile development activities.
• Evaluate existing platform capabilities and identify opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and design technologies to accelerate research, prototyping, workflow design, and user experience improvements.
• Partner with technical teams to design AI-enabled experiences using Salesforce capabilities, including Einstein AI, Agentforce, automation, predictive analytics, and other emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, style guides, and interface standards.
• Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback, and recommend product improvements.
• Create design artifacts and visualizations that communicate concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure designs align with DoD, accessibility, and security requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field plus one (1) full academic year of graduate education in a specialized field; OR Bachelor's degree in a specialized field plus two (2) years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of three (3) years of specialized experience.
• Experience designing user experiences, interfaces, workflows, or digital products for enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of human-centered design, design thinking, and user research methodologies.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, mockups, process flows, and design documentation.
• Experience gathering and translating customer requirements into actionable design solutions.
• Experience collaborating within Agile teams and supporting iterative product development.
• Understanding of accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to support research, content generation, prototyping, workflow optimization, or user experience improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with Salesforce platform capabilities and user experience considerations within Salesforce environments.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities, including Einstein AI, Agentforce, or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, enterprise CRM platforms, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience designing solutions within the federal government, Department of Defense (DoD), or other highly regulated environments.
