Jefferson is seeking a n Engineer Journeyman to support a federal agency.
This role is contingent upon successful award of proposal.
This role will be Hybrid. The primary place of performance for this contract will be the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters, located at the St. Elizabeths Campus at 2703 Martin Luther King JR Ave SE, Washington, DC, 20593-7800. Due to potential space limitations at the primary facility, off-site remote work may be authorized as necessary, subject to the review and express written approval of the COR. All off-site work must comply with established security protocols and data handling requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Support the development lifecycle of Power Platform solutions.
- Build and maintain applications under the direction of senior analysts.
- Provide end-user support for deployed tools.
- Assist in testing of applications and automations .
- Create technical documentation to support knowledge management efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, OR
- Master's degree (MA/MS), with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, OR
- Relevant technical certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate) and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree.
- Relevant experience includes application development, user support, or business process analysis.
- One (1) year of experience in a DoD or DHS environment is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Certified: Legacy Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100) certification, PL- 200 or the combination of PL-7001 and PL-7002 certifications required .
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Relevant scope area:
- Provide dedicated technical support for all applications, dashboards, and automations developed under this contract, serving as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Monitor and manage the operational health of custom-built solutions by proactively identifying and resolving errors, performance degradation, and connectivity issues in Power Platform applications, RPA bots, and data dashboards.
- Support unit understanding of MHS Genesis upgrades and develop complimentary business tools/automations as needed.
- Administer user access and permissions specifically for the applications and associated data sources created by the contract team, ensuring alignment with user roles and security policies.
- Manage the application lifecycle for all developed products, including deploying updates, applying patches, and executing maintenance activities to ensure long term stability and security compliance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, including detailed user guides, troubleshooting FAQs, and technical documentation specifically for the custom -built tools.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on application health, user-reported incident trends, and support ticket resolution metrics to guide future development sprints and highlight areas for improvement.
- Meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the acknowledgment, response, and resolution of support requests related to the applications developed by the team.
