About the Opportunity
Stillwater Human Capital is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Control Analyst to support a federal customer by providing performance reporting, data analysis, and program controls for a nationwide recruiting and outreach program.
The Project Control Analyst plays a critical role in measuring program performance by collecting, validating, analyzing, and reporting operational and financial data across more than 100 recruiting events annually. This position supports program leadership by transforming data into meaningful insights that drive operational decisions, improve program execution, and support continuous process improvement.
Working closely with Program Management, Event Planning, Logistics, Operations, and customer stakeholders, the Project Control Analyst develops dashboards, performance reports, trend analyses, financial summaries, and executive-level reporting that provides visibility into program health and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities
Program Performance Reporting
• Collect, validate, and consolidate operational data from recruiting events nationwide.
• Develop and maintain standardized reporting processes to ensure consistent and accurate program metrics.
• Produce recurring program reports, dashboards, and executive summaries supporting operational and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare Monthly Performance Reports, Quarterly Trend Reports, Annual Program Reports, and Event Outcome Summaries.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Project Management, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project controls, program analysis, business analytics, financial analysis, reporting, or performance management.
• Experience developing dashboards, executive reports, and performance metrics.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
• Experience collecting, validating, and analyzing operational or financial data.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, charts, and data analysis tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or similar reporting and dashboard platforms preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Working Conditions
• Work is performed primarily in a professional office or remote office environment with frequent collaboration across program teams and customer stakeholders.
• Domestic travel up to 25% may be required to support customer meetings, program reviews, recruiting events, or operational planning sessions.
• Position requires extended periods of computer work, data analysis, report preparation, and virtual meetings.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support reporting deadlines, customer deliverables, or program milestones.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any customer-required credentials, facility access, or security requirements necessary to perform assigned duties.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
