Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes1.) directing facility engineering operations to execute preventive maintenance programs across large-scale building systems; 2.) overseeing construction projects by developing comprehensive scopes of work associated with cost estimates; 3.) evaluating contractor performance to ensure strict adherence to technical project specifications; AND 4.) administering occupational safety programs to enforce compliance with federal hazard mitigation regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- A pre-placement medical examination is required.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random testing. Selectees will be required to consent to participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position requires Contracting Officer Representative (COR) training and experience to be obtained within 6 months of hiring.
