Seeking Dentist-Emergency General Dentistry for U.S. Government Support - Iraq (Baghdad & Erbil)

Cherokee Federal is recruiting experienced Dentist-Emergency General Dentistry to support U.S. government medical operations in Iraq. Provide full-time emergency general dentistry at the Baghdad Embassy Compound Diplomatic Support Hospital. If you're ready to serve those who serve, we want to hear from you.

** This role Is contingent upon award.

** Secret Clearance Is Preferred Or ability to obtain required clearance for the role

** Per contract, candidate required to work more than 10 hours as regular shift / Overtime hours / holidays and weekends

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen and possess active U.S Passport to qualify.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide immediate and often same-day emergency dental treatment.
• Evaluate and treat potentially acute oral conditions.
• Stop uncontrollable oral bleeding.
• Alleviate severe dental pain.
• Manage dental or oral infections that could compromise the patient's airway.
• Deliver dental services in person; telemedicine is not permitted for dental services.

Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Required Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in the Dentist.

Certification:

• All professional licensure and credentials must be current and verified.

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency general dentistry and treatment of acute oral conditions Is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
