Seeking Paramedic / Lead Paramedic-Emergency Response and EMS Training for U.S. Government Support - Iraq (Baghdad & Erbil)
Cherokee Federal is recruiting experienced Paramedic / Lead Paramedic-Emergency Response and EMS Training to support U.S. government medical operations in Iraq. Support emergency medical response, ambulance operations, EMS quality assurance, skills validation, continuing education, and MASCAL readiness at Mission Iraq sites. ** This role Is contingent upon award.
** Secret Clearance Is Preferred Or ability to obtain required clearance for the role
** Per contract, candidate required to work more than 10 hours as regular shift / Overtime hours / holidays and weekends
A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen and possess active U.S Passport to qualify.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities Include:
- Support emergency medical response.
- Support ambulance transportation within the Baghdad Embassy Compound.
- Meet the applicable EMS-response objective of ALS arrival within eight minutes 90% of the time.
- Participate in MASCAL exercises.
- Support medical skills verification for DSSC medical personnel.
- Support cognitive testing and psychomotor validation stations.
- Develop or support continuing-education activities.
- Train personnel on protocols, patient movement, treatment, emergency notification, and communications.
- Establish or support paramedic skills validation and continuing education.
- Track completion of EMS training.
- Support monthly reporting of training, certifications, and protocol test results.
- The Lead Paramedic and DSSC AEMTs' direct supervisor must track the dates on which required training is completed.
Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Required Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in Paramedic or Lead Paramedic.
- EMS quality-assurance support requires demonstrated knowledge and experience providing:
- Continuing medical education; and
- Skills assessment for EMTs at the Intermediate-85 level or above.
Certification:
- Licenses and Certifications must be current and verified.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lead Paramedic, experience in EMS training, continuing education, skills assessment, protocol development, and quality assurance preferred
- Must pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
