Seeking Diagnostic Imaging Technologist-CT/X-ray or Ultrasound for U.S. Government Support - Iraq (Baghdad & Erbil)

Cherokee Federal is recruiting experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist-CT/X-ray or Ultrasound to support U.S. government medical operations in Iraq. Provide diagnostic imaging support at the Diplomatic Support Hospital, including CT, X-ray, and diagnostic ultrasound services for routine and emergency patient care. ** Secret Clearance Is Preferred Or ability to obtain required clearance for the role

** Per contract, candidate required to work more than 10 hours as regular shift / Overtime hours / holidays and weekends

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen and possess active U.S Passport to qualify.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Responsibilities Include:

CT/X-ray track

• Operate and support Computerized Tomography equipment.
• Conduct non-contrast and contrast studies using oral and IV contrast.
• Support emergencies and routine scans.
• Support transmission of CT and other digital images for real-time teleradiology readings.
• Provide x-ray support.

Ultrasound track

Provide diagnostic ultrasound evaluations involving:

• FAST abdominal examinations
• Thoracic
• Renal
• Limited cardiac
• Limited/emergency obstetric
• Gynecological
• Genitourinary
• Vascular examinations

Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Required Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in the applicable radiology or ultrasound.

Certification:

• CT Scan and X-ray Certified

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency, trauma, contrast CT, FAST, or hospital imaging experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
