Seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 to support the design, development, testing, integration, and maintenance of mission-critical software applications in a secure government environment. The ideal candidate will apply software engineering principles throughout the SDLC to develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, implement software enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality capabilities that support customer mission objectives.

Seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 to support the design, development, testing, integration, and maintenance of mission-critical software applications in a secure government environment. The ideal candidate will apply software engineering principles throughout the SDLC to develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, implement software enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality capabilities that support customer mission objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain software applications.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Analyze requirements and develop scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and software engineering best practices.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, software integration, and system testing.
- Develop technical documentation and provide technical briefings to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, testers, and government customers in an Agile development environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience as defined by the LCAT).
- Experience with software design, development, testing, integration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, or Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Polygraph preferred or required based on customer needs.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Git, and DevSecOps practices.
- Familiarity with Linux, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community software development efforts.
