Job Description
MANTECH seeks a career and customer-oriented Senior Project Analyst to join our team in Washington, D.C. This is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite and 4 days remote per week.
The role requires an individual with a unique combination of deep technical knowledge, managerial acumen, and extensive experience within the DHS or Department of War (DoW) acquisition ecosystems.

The role requires an individual with a unique combination of deep technical knowledge, managerial acumen, and extensive experience within the DHS or Department of War (DoW) acquisition ecosystems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a technical project analyst and project manager for providing high-level Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to Division Directors and Program Managers, ensuring that S&T and RDT&E activities are conducted with scientific rigor and operational relevance
- Provide programmatic support for the transition and integration of complex systems into the DHS Component operational environments
- Serve as a primary liaison between performers, subject matter experts, and federal leadership, fostering collaboration across matrixed teams and external public/private stakeholders
- Provide high-level day-to-day management for program acquisition, cost, schedule, performance, and risk analytics for DHS S&T programs and synchronize technical execution across acquisition framework
- Analyze and orchestrate internal resources to deliver complex products
- Monitor project health through rigorous schedule and financial tracking, proactively identifying programmatic risks before they impact technical development and delivery schedule milestones
- Ensure that all deliverables meet DHS S&T quality standards
- Serve as a key bridge between mission requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation efforts are consistently documented to support procurement decisions and the historical baseline of emissions data
- Occasional travel required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management and program research
- Policy Proficiency: Experience with DHS acquisition policy and DHS systems engineering lifecycle
- Technical Writing: Proven experience in developing complex technical reports and briefings for senior leadership
- Comprehensive understanding of DHS Acquisition Management Instruction 102-01-001 (ALF)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Analytics or a related field
- War Acquisition University (WAU) or DHS Program Management, System Engineering, or Test and Evaluation Certifications
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
