About The Role

Peraton is looking to hire a Data Architect, this will be an on-site role in Huntsville, AL

What you will do:
  • Provide input and recommendations to develop and assist in the implementation of the configuration management and data management systems.
  • Implement data management best practices to maintain accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Manage the acceptance and routing of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), ensuring thorough tracking to closure.
  • Utilize and manage multiple database platforms to include TopVue and Windchill, demonstrating proficiency in data management and configuration management tools and analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, facilitating clear understanding of data requirements and status while adapting to changing priorities and environments, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in a dynamic acquisition landscape.
  • Participate, provide input, advice, and recommendations to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) which may include members of PMO ASE, USG matrix support personnel, prime Contractor personnel, and other Contractor personnel.
  • Support the IPT meetings in person or via Video Teleconference (VTC), Secured Video Teleconference (SVTC), via telephone conference or electronic media such as MS Teams.
  • Review, track, update, and archive ASE Product CDRLs and configuration control documents (to include specifications, Interface Control Documents, and Engineering Change orders) to manage approved ASE Product design baseline.
  • Review the ASE CDMP annually and provide updates as required, identifying improvement opportunities for CM and DM processes and practices, and documenting these improvements for consistency and repeatability.
  • Ensure compliance with Army acquisition policies and procedures, maintaining adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Research, review, update, develop, and provide recommendations for ASE program requirements including acquisition documentation, Contract Requirements Package (CRP) documentation, memorandums of understanding, acquisition reports, acquisition program plans and strategies, program schedules, program milestone decision documentation, technical reviews, and ASE program initiatives for research & development, integration, Configuration/Data Management and support services in the execution of contractual actions.
  • Provide input and recommendations to develop, compile, review, and document data management strategies, decision/information papers, program plans, and program baseline documents to support milestone and budgetary decisions.
  • Provide input and recommendations for in-depth analysis and assessment of acquisition data, program risks, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Provide input to PMO ASE for briefings in support of conferences, meetings, and various Program Reviews.
  • Interface with DEVCOM, ASA(ALT) PEO/PMs, other military Services weapon system managers, foreign partners, and the Army Aviation combat developer, to assess the current and future mission requirements for ASE programs.

Qualifications

What you'll need:
  • Education: 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with and supporting ASE
  • Knowledge and experience with database inputs and management including TopVue

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
